The BCPC Congress 2017  addressed the crop protection and production technology toolbox available to UK farmers that has been progressively constrained under the EU Regulatory system.

George Eustice (UK Minister of Agriculture) opened the Congress with a presentation on the regulatory landscape post-Brexit. George addressed how the UK should take the lead in delivering enlightened, science-based regulation, to improve production of food, health and environmental protection. His presentation is available to listen to here.

As in previous years, the Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) and Defra held a workshop which provided participants an opportunity to engage with them as well as to give opinion on the direction of policy and regulation.
