BCPC Congress 2016 – CRD interactive workshop announced

The BCPC Congress provides an excellent forum for anyone working in the crop protection and regulatory community and this year is no exception. Delegates to the event, which takes place in Brighton, UK on 4 – 5 October, have the chance to join an interactive workshop run by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD).

The workshop, entitled “What are the opportunities and risks for pesticide regulation in the UK following the EU referendum?” will be delivered by Sarah Shore, Head of Plant Protection Products and Jayne Wilder, CRD.

Attendees will be invited to answer a series of questions and offer their views on pesticide regulation post-referendum. HSE and Defra are keen to find out how the regulation of pesticides could look in the future so will be keen to listen to views and ideas from stakeholders.
