BCPC Launches New Congress in Brighton

BCPC (the British Crop Production Council), in association with TSGE Forum, are delighted to announce the launch of a new Congress focussed on the regulatory issues affecting crop production and protection in the EU.

The two-day event will take place on 1-2 October 2013, and will return to the original home of past BCPC Congresses – the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Brighton, Sussex, U.K.

“The BCPC Congress 2013 will focus on a single highly topical theme: EU regulatory changes and the challenges they present to the crop production industry,” says Dr Colin Ruscoe, Chairman, BCPC. “We are very pleased to be cooperating with TSGE Forum in organising the event, since they have valuable experience in providing quality conferences and training events to the regulatory community throughout Europe.”

The Congress will include the traditional BCPC mix of conference and business activities, including:

  • Presentations from the European industry, lawyers and other specialists in the application and implications of the current regulations affecting agrochemicals;
  • An exhibition for service providers and organisations concerned with crop production and protection;
  • A Congress Reception, hospitality offerings and other networking opportunities.

“This event will provide an ideal opportunity for all those concerned with the regulatory aspects of European plant production and protection to meet, learn, network and do business,” says Dr. Ruscoe. “Our joint objective is to provide a Congress which gives attendees the information they need on the practical aspects and implications of the current and developing EU regulations.”
